Full time Brewer required
A key member of our brewing team - Damiano - is off to continue his brewing journey at a brewery up in the Arctic Circle (not a euphemism by the way, it’s in Norway). He’s been a great member of the Gun team and we’re sad to see him go, but it does mean that we need to replace him, so we’re now seeking a full time brewer.
This is a varied role that principally involves working in the brewery but also, on the odd occasion, delivering to pubs or representing the brewery at events.
A typical week might include:
- Wort production
- Cellar management / QC
- Record keeping on our brewery management system
- Canning, kegging and cask racking
- Cleaning casks, kegs & vessels
- Keeping the brewery & coldstores clean & tidy
- Representing the company at various events
- Delivering beer and collecting empties if required
Experienced in a commercial brewery
Brewing education to at least IBD General Certificate standard or equivalent
Detail focused & numerate
This is a physically demanding job. Casks of beer weigh 45 kg, so it is essential that you are fit
As part of the public face of the brewery, it’s important that you are someone who is polite, punctual and well organised
Please email email@example.com with a CV, telling us a bit about yourself and why you think you would be a good fit.
