Dark and delicious, a rich jet black milk stout made with a combination barley, oats, wheat and roasted chocolate malts. The result is a satisfying balance of coffee, vanilla and chocolate notes and a full malt base. One to be savoured.

2-Star
Table 1: A lush, smooth, creamy caramel aroma. This jet black stout looks creamy and has toasty rather than roasted notes on the nose. Surprisingly, little chocolate on the nose but they saved it all for the flavour - full of dark chocolate, smooth, elegant and satisfying. Excellent mouthfeel and length of palate.
Table 2: A rich dark colour. The nose, as promised, delivered coffee and chocolate - as did the palate, in spades. The flavours are vivid and characterful: rich, deep and long with a sweetly satisfying coffee finish. Delicious
Table 3: A glossy dark Stout with a very malty nose. On tasting we found dominant coffee with malty chocolate balancing the flavours. A most agreeable Milk Stout with a good mouthfeel and length on the palate.

Table 5: Wonderful black colour. Big stout nose, very creamy. Sweet without being cloying. These flavours are in balance. Well-managed coffee notes; some vanilla sweetness that we enjoyed. Clean and yet mouth-filling.
